Rebus: what it is and how to play
A rebus is a puzzle in which a word hides inside pictures, letters and signs. Read each picture’s name: a comma drops one letter from the start or the end, a crossed-out letter is removed, A=O swaps a letter, numbers over a picture pick the letters at those places and an upside-down picture is read backwards.
Game modes
The game has 300 levels, and the difficulty climbs gradually, so beginners and veterans both find their pace. Each level pays up to 3 stars, and you can compete in the world ranking by stars. The game is free and runs in your browser with no install.
Tips for beginners
Name each picture with its simplest word and apply the signs one by one. The answer often clicks on its own.
